On a #bts tour of the kitchens and wine cellar of this São Paulo one-off restaurant: Figueira Rubaiyat. Built around (literally) an immense, century-old fig tree (ficus) that’s 6 metres in diameter at the base., there restaurant does not have a roof, but rather glass panels that weave between the branches. When we were there a storm erupted and the water cascaded from roof to gutter to roof above us.
